When you submit content to Lodgemate, whether for a lodge listing, service listing, roommate listing, or request listing, you retain ownership of your content. However, you grant Lodgemate certain rights as outlined below:
- License Grant
By submitting any content (including but not limited to photos, videos, text descriptions, and metadata) to Lodgemate, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable, sublicensable license to use, host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, publish, modify, create derivative works from, and otherwise use that content for the following purposes:
- Operating and maintaining the platform;
- Displaying and promoting your listings across Lodgemate;
- Marketing Lodgemate through internal or external channels (e.g. social media, email, advertising, etc.);
- Improving our services and systems (including data analysis and machine learning models);
- Complying with legal and regulatory obligations.
- Your Responsibility and Representations
By uploading content to Lodgemate, you agree to the following responsibilities and representations:
- You confirm that you have the necessary rights to upload and share the content.
- You confirm that your content does not infringe upon the rights of any third party or violate any law.
- You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of listing details (e.g. availability, pricing, contact info).
- You agree to indemnify Lodgemate for any claims related to your content.
- Duration of License
This license continues until you remove your content from the platform. Lodgemate may retain backup copies or continue using the content in archived marketing materials or legally required contexts.
- Platform Moderation Rights
Lodgemate reserves the right to review, modify, or remove content that violates our policies or applicable law, at our sole discretion.
- DMCA and Copyright Infringement
If you believe your intellectual property has been used without authorization, please file a copyright complaint at Lodgemate support
Retention of Information
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We may also retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
- Delete Account Information
You may at any time, delete your information from our system. Please be informed that we may hold your information for up to 3 months in review before we completely delete them from our system. To delete your information, ensure you're logged into the associated account then click delete your account
Children's Privacy
Our App is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
